Growing up in multiple family businesses, Gentry Stanley developed a creative and entrepreneurial spirit early on. At the age of ten, he was developing 35mm film for projects, and by fourteen, he was learning international trade and implementing supply chain processes.

Throughout his career, Gentry has made a significant impact on the entertainment and advertising industry, holding key development roles at Best Buy, Sears, and Arnold Advertising, and managing notable agency and client relationships such as Young and Rubicam, BBDO, Yamaha, BMW, and Federal Cartridge. As a dot com era executive, Gentry facilitated eight-figure web development and the successful exit of one of the first comparison shopping engines.

After the sale of SmartShop, Gentry moved to LA to pursue his passion for filmmaking. Starting out as a production assistant, he learned as much as possible about the industry, including theater, themed entertainment design, TV, music videos, movies, and bringing shows to market across various platforms.

With over 20 years of experience, Gentry has produced compelling content for major networks including Viacom, Paramount, NBC and Disney. He has received prestigious film awards from festivals including Best Experimental Film at The Toronto Film Festival and Espresion En Corto in Mexico.

His recent completion of “The Pandemic Project” with Emmy winner Monique Lore highlights his ability to address contemporary issues through film, showcasing his versatility. Additionally, Gentry serves as the licensed partner at Stanley Brothers LLC, renowned for their residential and commercial renovations in California and Arizona. Now, as the Executive Producer of Digital Experiments, a leading UX/UI agency, he remains at the forefront of driving digital innovation.

In addition to his professional achievements, Gentry has co-authored a series of guidebooks with his friend and colleague Calvin Lickfelt, emphasizing his commitment to sharing knowledge. Outside of work, he finds joy in supporting his family’s life events in Arizona, dealing works of art, fueling his adventurous spirit on horseback in the Sierras and sailing along the California Coast.
